Over by the houses on the hill
There’s a mirrored building standing still
Let it in on your agonies and worries
And when all its glinting windowpanes
Take turns in taunting you by name
Just close your eyes to see
The skyline veiled by rust
And the city ground to dust
Underneath the bridges by the square
You can find the river flowing there
Let it in on your agonies and worries
And when every vaulted riverside
Joins up in stomping on your pride
Just close your eyes to see
The skyline veiled by rust
And the city ground to dust
High above the battered city roads
There beguiling letters shine aglow
Let them in on your agonies and worries
And when all their colors, shapes, and lines
Take joy in treating you unkind
Just close your eyes to see
The skyline veiled by rust
And the city ground to dust
A former incarnation of Strange Passage. Shoegaze in the vein of Chapterhouse, The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa, Lush, et al. Homegrown in Somerville, MA. Strange Passage
Kraut- and giallo-indebted synth "scores" for horror movies that don't exist. Fans of Goblin, Fabio Frizzi, John Carpenter, and Tangerine Dream take note. Strange Passage
Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
