Can you tell your agitation swells
As you watch the pendulum impel
Both the hands in circles as it sways?
Is your stomach turning with the clock
And the cloying melodies it plays?
Are you aware the ache's too much to bear
As the clock so faithfully declares
Your unease with each melodic phrase?
Is your stomach turning with the clock
And the cloying melodies it plays?
I can tell
The clock makes you unwell
As it marks the time
That you’re thrown
By the tone
of the bells
And the sound of the chime
You let on
The clock upsets your calm
And your peace of mind
That your ill
Mood’ll still
Linger on
Past the very last chime
Do you find your agitation climbs
As you watch the instruments give sign
To the moon’s forever waning phase?
Is your stomach turning with the clock
And the cloying melodies it plays?

Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
